We are a 100% owned subsidiary of Timaru District Council and our purpose is to hold and manage commercial assets that add value to the Timaru District. Our cornerstone investments are: PrimePort Timaru Limited, Alpine Energy Limited and a a commercial property portfolio.
By actively and strategically managing these assets, we are safeguarding the income stream they generate for Timaru District Council. This income can then be spent on sustaining and improving Timaru District and its infrastructure, and keeping your council rates low. This also ensures that the companies and investment assets themselves continue to contribute to the local economy, driving further local investment and generating local jobs.
Ultimately, our aim is to ensure that these investments deliver community prosperity to Timaru, now, and for generations to come.
