2 May 2024 – TDHL is pleased to announce the appointment of Amanda Johnston as a new Director of PrimePort.
South Canterbury born and bred, Amanda’s commercial acumen and local perspective stood out as being the ideal fit with the existing Board. She also brings a wider skillset from various investment advisor roles in New Zealand and overseas, with experience in start-ups, tourism, high-growth and established companies. She is currently managing the family agri-business in Temuka.
After attending Craighead Diocesan School, Amanda graduated from the University of Otago with a BCom PGDipCom and has held various investment advisor roles in New Zealand and overseas. She is also currently a Board Trustee for Melanoma New Zealand.
TDHL General Manager Frazer Munro says that TDHL is delighted with Amanda’s appointment and is looking forward to her insights, energy and expertise contributing to the future direction of PrimePort.
“Amanda is a great addition to the PrimePort Board as we continue to ensure that the Port provides essential market links for importers and exporters. She brings considerable commercial experience and connections, as well as a first-hand understanding of the economic environment of the district which will complement the existing PrimePort Board,” Munro says.
